Complete casting has been announced for Center Theatre Group’s upcoming production of A Parallelogram, a new play Bruce Norris, best known for his 2011 Pulitzer Prize-winning and 2012 Tony Award-winning play, Clybourne Park. The production is set to run at the Mark Taper Forum from July 10 through August 18, with an official opening night scheduled for July 21.

The cast will feature Tony Award nominee Marin Ireland (The Big Knife), Carlo Albán (A Summer Day), Drama Desk Award winner Marylouise Burke (Rx), and Drama Desk Award winner Tom Irwin who performed in the Steppenwolf production of A Parallelogram in 2010.

The darkly comic play follows Bee who believes she has the power to see and potentially alter the future — a belief that is greatly concerning to all those around her.

A Parallelogram will be helmed by Tony Award-winning director Anna D. Shapiro (August: Osage County) and will feature set design by Todd Rosenthal, costume design by Alex Jaeger, lighting design by James F. Ingalls, and sound design by Rob Milburn and Michael Bodeen.
