Rupert Friend Joins Showtime’s Homeland as Series Regular
Theater veteran Rupert Friend will join the cast of Showtime’s Homeland as a series regular, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
He will play a CIA analyst on the terrorism-themed drama which stars Claire Danes and Damian Lewis. As recently reported, Homeland was named Best Drama Series at the second annual Critics’ Choice Television Awards.
Friend starred in a London production of the Douglas Carter Beane comedy The Little Dog Laughed. His film credits include The Young Victoria and Pride & Prejudice.
