Marcia Gay Harden to Star in The Librarian Film

Tony Award and Academy Award winner Marcia Gay Harden will star in the independent film, The Librarian, according to Variety.

The actress will play the titular character, who is undergoing a midlife crisis in this Costa Rica-set drama. Joel Silverman is penning the screenplay, and Juan Feldman will direct.

Harden won the Tony for God of Carnage and also starred on Broadway in Angels in America. She won the Oscar for Pollock, and received an Oscar nomination for Mystic River. She is also a two-time Emmy Award nominee for The Courageous Heart of Irena Sendler and Law & Order: SVU.
