James Roday and Matt Shakman Purchase Hollywood’s El Centro Theatre

James Roday and Matt Shakman have purchased Hollywood’s El Centro Theatre according to The Los Angeles Times .
Roday, star of the hit USA Network series Psych is the co-artistic director of the theater company Red Dog Squadron. Shakman, a frequent director on Psych and other television programs, is the founder and artistic director of the Black Dahlia Theatre.
The two-stage theater, which the pair reportedly purchased for $800,000 will be renovated once the current production, the musical Hair, closes later this month. It will begin to house Red Dog and Black Dahlia productions in 2013.
