Davis Gaines, Larry Raben, Jamie Torcellini to Star in Musical Theatre West’s Monty Python’s Spamalot

Davis Gaines will play King Arthur in Musical Theatre West’s upcoming production of Monty Python’s Spamalot, to run June 29-July 15 in the Carpenter Performing Arts Center.

Directed by Steven Glaudini, with choreography by Billy Sprague, Jr., and musical direction by John Glaudini, the production will use the original Broadway sets and costumes.

“Lovingly ripped off” from the film Monty Python and the Holy Grail, the musical features a score by Eric Idle and John Du Prez, and a book by Idle based on the film’s screenplay by Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Idle, Terry Jones, and Michael Palin.

The cast will also feature Larry Raben as Sir Robin, Jamie Torcellini as Patsy, Dan Callaway as Sir Galahad, Danny Stiles as Sir Bedevere, Zachary Ford as SIr Lancelot, Richard Israel as Historian/Fred/Herbert, and Tami Tappan Damiano as the Lady of the Lake.
