Ian McShane, Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron, et al. Set for New Snow White Movie

Ian McShane has joined the cast of the new movie version of Snow White, according to The Hollywood Reporter. He will play Caesar, the leader of the dwarfs.

In this new version of the fairy tale, a princess escapes her evil stepmother with the help of a huntsman who was to have killed her, but now trains the princess to survive and fight back. The film will also star Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth.

McShane starred on Broadway in the revival of Harold Pinter’s The Homecoming. His television work includes the series Deadwood and Kings. In addition he can currently be seen on screen as Blackbeard in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
