Ennio! to Play Pasadena Playhouse in August

Ennio Marchetto will bring his show Ennio! to the Pasadena Playhouse, August 23-28.
In the show, Marchetto uses elaborate paper costumes and origami techniques, to impersonate over 50 celebrities and pop culture icons. The work has been seen internationally, and been nominated for London’s Laurence Oliver Award and a Drama Desk Award.
The show’s origami-style folding techniques and paper props, which allow the performer to transition seamlessly from one character to the next, have been developed by Marchetto and his creative partner, costume and fashion designer Sosthen Hennekam.
