Heather Woodbury to Offer As the Globe Warms in July

Heather Woodbury will perform her one-woman eco-activist soap opera As the Globe Warms at the Echo Curio Gallery and Performance Space, July 10-October 2. The work is performed in live weekly solo installments and then posted onine.

The piece focuses on a diverse group of characters including a Pentecostal teen possessed by endangered animals, a dead video artist broadcasting posthumously, a love-starved Emma Goldman scholar, a family of single women living in a casino parking lot and a lustful zoologist fighting to save an endangered species of Nevada frog.

Woodbury’s previous works include Tale of 2 Cities and What Ever, which in addition to its theatrical run, was broadcast on NPR.
