Nicole Scherzinger will play Maureen in the production, joining the previously announced Aaron Tveit as Roger, Skylar Astin as Mark, Vanessa Hudgens as Mimi, Wayne Brady as Collins, Tracie Thoms as Joanne, Collins Pennie as Benny, Telly Leung as Angel, and Gwen Stewart as the "Seasons of Love" vocalist.

Scherzinger may be best known as the lead singer of The Pussycat Dolls and as the winner of this season's Dancing with the Stars. In addition, she is a solo recording artist and in 2009, she recorded an adaptation of the AR Rahman Song "Jai Ho" from the film Slumdog Millionaire, which hit #1 in 17 different countries.
