Shoshana Bean to Sing Barbra Streisand for Upright Cabaret’s "Wicked" Summer Nights

Shoshana Bean will kick off the Upright Cabaret’s “Wicked” Summer Nights series at the Ford Amphitheatre with Shoshana Bean: Shoshana Sings Streisand, a Happening at the Ford, to be directed by Billy Porter with music director Gerald Sternbach, on Thursday, June 11 at 8:30pm.

Bean will sing many hits associated with Barbra Streisand, as well as songs from Bean’s debut album, Superhero. Bean appeared in Wicked, the original Broadway cast of Hairspray, and the 2001 Off-Broadway revival of Godspell.

As previously announced, the “Wicked” Summer Nights series will also include fellow Wicked star Eden Espinosa (July 24) and the show’s composer-lyricist, Stephen Schwartz (August 23).
