[Inside] the Ford has announced 2009-2010 productions that are part of its Winter Partnership Program. The season will kick off in November with Ensemble Studio Theatre-LA’s world premiere of Tree, by Julie Hebert. In the play, a white Southern woman discovers old love letters leading her to an African-American half-brother.

In January, TheSpyAnts will present the Los Angeles premiere of Charles L. Mee’s bobrauschenbergamerica, a fantastical voyage through the heart of small town America as seen through the eyes of visionary artist Robert Rauschenberg. The season will conclude with Circle X Theatre Co. presenting the world premiere of Lascivious Something by Sheila Callaghan. Set in 1980 on a secluded Greek island, the play involves an American ex-pat, his young bride, and the reappearance of an old lover who brings with her a wild and violent past.
