Huck Walton to Star in Godspell at the Covina Center for the Performing Arts

The Covina Center for the Performing Arts has announced the cast and creative team for their upcoming production of Godspell, June 26-August 2, to be directed, choreographed, and costumed by Larry Watts.

This production aims to recreate the 2001 revival of the 1971 Broadway original musical, taken from the Gospels of Mathew and Luke, with updated orchestration and a contemporary setting. The cast will star Huck Walton as Jesus, and feature Joaquin Nunez (John the Baptist/Judas), Mary Lucas, Adrianna Rose Lyons, Emily Mitchell, Jessica Porter, Morgan Reynolds, Bridget Schack, Kyle Short, and Loren Smith.

The creative team will also include Angelo Collado (set design), Patrick Copeland (producer / sound design), Bryan Dauterive (lighting design), and David Lamoureux (musical director).
