Life Could Be A Dream, a new musical written and directed by Roger Bean, will run at the Hudson Mainstage Theatre in Hollywood, July 27-September 27.

The show is set in Springfield — as is Bean’s The Marvelous Wonderettes — and focuses on the adventurers of the all-boy group “The Crooning Crabcakes.” The show’s songs will include “Stay,” “Runaround Sue,” “The Great Pretenders,” “Tears on My Pillow,” and “Unchained Melody.”

The show will star Doug Carpenter, Justin Michael Duval, Jim Holdridge, Daniel Tatar, and Jessica Keenan Wynn. The creative team will include Lee Bogart (choreography), Michael Paternostro (musical direction), Tom Buderwitz (sets), Shon LeBlan (costumes), Luke Moyer (lighting), and Cricket S. Myers (sound).
