Full casting has been announced for L.A. Theatre Works' upcoming readings of Neil Simon's Biloxi Blues, to take place July 11 through 15 at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles. The play, to be directed by Nataki Garrett, will be recorded for future radio broadcast as part of LATW's nationally syndicated radio theater series.

In addition to previously announced stars Josh Radnor as Eugene Morris Jerome and Justine Bateman as Rowena, the cast will feature Steve Rankin as Sergeant Toomey, John Cabrera as Arnold Epstein, Joshua Biton as Joseph Wykowski, Matthew Patrick Davis as Don Carney, Russell Soder as Roy Selridge, Rob Benedict as James Hennesey, and Darby Stanchfield as Daisy Hannigan

This Tony Award-winning, semi-autobiographical play is part of Simon's "Eugene Trilogy," following Brighton Beach Memoirs and preceding Broadway Bound. During World War II, newly enlisted Eugene finds himself transplanted from Brooklyn, New York to Biloxi, Mississippi for basic training.

Radnor is best known for his role of Ted Mosby on the CBS-TV sitcom How I Met Your Mother. In 2002, he made his Broadway debut as Benjamin Braddock in the stage version of The Graduate. Bateman is best known for her role of Mallory Keaton on the NBC-TV sitcom Family Ties.
