Robert De Niro, Michael Douglas, Morgan Freeman Set for Last Vegas Film

Stage veterans and film stars Robert De Niro, Michael Douglas, and Morgan Freeman will star in the comedy Last Vegas, from CBS Films and Good Universe.

Jon Turteltaub will direct the project from a screenplay by Dan Fogelman. The comedy is about four old friends who decide to throw a Las Vegas bachelor party for the only one of them who has remained single.

De Niro appeared on Broadway in the 1986 play, Cuba & His Teddy Bear for which he received a Theatre World Award. He has won Academy Awards for The Godfather, Part II and Raging Bull, and received nominations for his performances in Taxi Driver, The Deer Hunter, Awakenings, and Cape Fear.

Douglas received a Theatre World Award for his performance in George Tabori’s Pinkville Off-Broadway. He has won Academy Awards for his performance in Wall Street and for producing the film One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.

Freeman received a Tony Award nomination in 1978 for The Mighty Gents, and his other Broadway credits include The Country Girl, Purlie, and The Gospel at Colonus. He won an Academy Award for his work in Clint Eastwood’s Million Dollar Baby and has been nominated four other times.
