Melanie Griffith Joins Cast of World Premiere Play No Way Around But Through

Oscar nominee Melanie Griffith has joined the cast of Scott Caan’s world premiere play No Way Around But Through, to be presented by Falcon Theatre and The Mineral Theater Company at the Falcon Theatre, June 1-July 8, with an opening on June 3. Val Lauren will direct.

The play is a romantic comedy about facing the inevitable dysfunctions of life and love head-on, centering on a man who discovers that his girlfriend might be pregnant.

Griffith replaces the previously reported Laine Kazan in the role of Lulu. The cast also features playwright Caan as Jacob, director Lauren as Frank, Robyn Cohen as Holly, and Bre Blair as Rachel.

Griffith played the role of Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway. She received an Academy Award nomination and a Golden Globe Award for Working Girl, with other film and TV credits including Born Yesterday, Mulholland Falls, Nobody’s Fool, Another Day in Paradise, Celebrity, and RKO 281.
