Lily Rabe to Star in Film Based on Mary Pickford Biography

Lily Rabe will star as Mary Pickford in an as-yet-untitled film based on Eileen Whitfield’s biography Pickford: The Woman Who Made Hollywood, according to Deadline.com.
The film, featuring a screenplay by Josh Fagin, will be produced by Julie Pacino and Jennifer DeLia’s Poverty Row Entertainment. Production will begin in early 2013.
Rabe will star as Rosalind in this summer’s Shakespeare in the Park production of As You Like It. She was Tony-nominated for her performance in The Merchant of Venice, and most recently starred on Broadway in Seminar.
