LATW Recording of 8 Featuring George Clooney, Jane Lynch, Brad Pitt to Air on Public Radio Stations

L.A. Theatre Works has announced that its upcoming audiobook recording of Dustin Lance Black’s play 8 will air on public radio stations across the country during the week of June 9 in recognition of Gay Pride month.

The broadcast, which features conversations with Black, director Rob Reiner, star George Clooney, and lawyers David Boies and Ted Olson, can be heard in Southern California on Sunday, June 10 from 8-10pm on 90.7 FM KPFK, and available for streaming on demand at www.latw.org.

As previously reported, the audiobook will be available on CD and for digital download beginning June 1.

The play, a dramatization of the legal fight against California’s Proposition 8, was performed in Los Angeles on March 3. The cast featured Clooney, Brad Pitt, Martin Sheen, Kevin Bacon, Jamie Lee Curtis, Christine Lahti, John C. Reilly, Jane Lynch, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Matthew Morrison, Chris Colfer, Yeardley Smith, Matt Bomer, George Takei, Rory O’Malley, Cleve Jones, James Pickens, Jr., Jansen Panettiere, Bridger Zadina, Vanessa Garcia, and Campbell Brown.
