The CW has officially given orders to five new series.

Topping the list is the medical drama Emily Owens, M.D, which features stage star Mamie Gummer in the title role as a first year intern in a Denver hospital. The series will co-star Justin Hartley, Michael Rady, Aja Naomi King, Kelly McCreary, and Necar Zadegan.

Also on the fall schedule is Arrow, starring Steven Arnell as billionare playboy who becomes a vigilante, and Broadway star Colin Donnell as his best friend, and Beauty and the Beast, starring Kristen Kreuk as cop who discovers that a long-presumed-dead doctor (played by Joe Ryan) is still alive, and might have clues to her mother’s murder.

On tap for midseason are The Carrie Darries, a prequel to Sex and the City, starring AnnaSophia Robb in the title role and stage veteran Matt Letscher as her father, Tom, and Cult, about an investigative journalist (played by Matt Davis) investigating his brother’s disappearance.

The network also renewed several series, including 90210, Gossip Girl, Supernatural, Hart of Dixie, Nikita, and The Vampire Diaries.
