Bill Voorhees, Lauren Dobbins Webb to Star in The Crucible at the Lillian Theater

Dollar Bill Productions will present Arthur Miller’s The Crucible, to run June 7-July 14 at Elephant Stages’ Lillian Theater.

Based on historical events, The Crucible tells the story of Salem, Massachusetts resident Elizabeth Proctor, who is accused by a young girl of being a witch and is put on trial.

Bill Voorhees will direct the production, as well as star (as John Proctor), with Lauren Dobbins Webb (Elizabeth Proctor), Anthony Brackman (Reverend John Hale), Doug Burch (Giles Corey), Jessicah Neufeld (Abigail Williams), Grace Kaufman (Betty Parris), Brad Light (Thomas Putnam), David Ross Paterson (Deputy Gov. Danforth), Bernadette Speakes (Tituba), Trevor H. olsen (reverend Parris), Rebecca Sigl (Mary Warren), Lorianne Hill (Anne Putnam/Sarah Good), Al Richter (Francis Nurse), Ashley Morey (Mercy Lewis), John Money (Ezekial Cheever), Lynn Odell (Rebecca Nurse), Michael Rhea (Hopkins), Warren Davis (Judge Hathone), and Rebecca Spicher and Shannon Kummer double cast as Susanna Walcott.

The creative team includes Joel Daavid (scenic designer), Matt Richter (lighting and sound designer), Lauren Thomsa (costume designer), Sean Thomas (producer), Lorianne Hill (associate producer), Marine Walton (scenic painter), and Bebe Herrera (stage manager).
