Steve Carrell, Keira Knightley, William Petersen, et al. Set for Seeking a Friend for the End of the World Film

Casting for the new film Seeking a Friend for the End of the World has been announced. Lorene Scafaria will direct the project, for which she has written the screenplay.

The movie is set in a too-near future when humanity’s last days are at hand, and centers on the the ways in which the stories of one man (to be played by Steve Carell) and one woman (to be played by Keira Knightley) converge.

The film will also feature Connie Britton, Adam Brody, Roger Aaron Brown, Melinda Dillon, Gillian Jacobs, Mark Moses, William Petersen, Tonita Castro, Rob Corddry, Rob Huebel, Derek Luke, Melanie Lynskey, T.J. Miller, Patton Oswalt, Lindsay Sloane, and Bob Stephenson.
