Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa to Join Creative Team of FOX’s Glee; Write New Carrie Film

Playwright Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa has been named a co-producer and writer of FOX’s Glee and will write the screenplay for a remake of Stephen King’s Carrie, according to a report on Deadline.com.
His credits include revisions to the book for the current Broadway musical Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark and he provided a new book for a recent revival of Charles Strouse and Lee Adams’ It’s a Bird, It’s a Plane…It’s Superman! in Dallas. His many plays inclue Based on a Totally True Story, Good Boys and True, and Doctor Cerberus.
In addition, Aguirre-Sacasa previously worked on the graphic novel version of King’s The Stand.
