Tony Award nominee Edward James Olmos will join Broadway veterans Mos Def and Colin Hanks on the sixth season of Showtime’s Emmy Award-winning series Dexter, according to EW.com.

Olmos, who appeared in the Broadway play Zoot Suit, will play a professor of religious studies. As previously reported, Mos Def will be playing a hardened ex-con whose claim to have found religion is subject to doubt, and Hanks will play Travis, a highly intelligent young expert on ancient artifacts who gets linked to a series of grisly murders in Miami.

Stage veteran Michael C. Hall plays the title character on the show, about a complicated and conflicted blood-spatter expert for the Miami police department who moonlights as a serial killer. The cast also features Jennifer Carpenter, Desmond Harrington, C.S. Lee, Lauren Vélez, David Zayas, and James Remar.
