Douglas Bilitch, Suzanne Dean, et al. Set for Midsummer Night’s Dream at Hermosa Beach Playhouse

Civic Light Opera of South Bay Cities has announced casting fro its production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, to play the Hermosa Beach Playhouse, May 25-June 6. Ovation Award winner Stephanie A. Coltrin will direct.

Shakespeare’s comedy portrays the adventures of four young Athenian lovers, a group of amateur actors, their interactions with the Duke of Athens, Theseus, the Queen of the Amazons, Hippolyta, and with the fairies who inhabit a moonlit forest.

The cast will include Douglas Bilitch (Oberon/Theseus), Hannah Bornstein (Fairy), Cylan Brown (Demetrius), Joel Bryant (Quince/Egeus), Sean Cruz (Fairy), Suzanne Dean (Titania/Hippolyta), Ryland Dodge (Puck), Mike Kersey (Snout), Michaelia Leigh (Hermia), Cody Lyman (Snug), Beth Moline (Helena), Nicholas Mongiardo-Cooper (Bottom), Andrew Oberstein (Flute), Brad Standley (Lysander), Jason Thomas (Starveling), ansd Anne Underwood (Fairy).
