Sleepless in Seattle Musical to Play Pasadena Playhouse in 2013; Season Schedule Announced

The Pasadena Playhouse has announced the works that will comprise its 2012-2013 season, which will include the previously rescheduled musical version of the film Sleepless in Seattle. The production will run at the playhouse June – July, 2013.

The season at the theater will begin with the world premiere of Robert Sternin and Prudence Fraser’s Under My Skin (September 11 – October 7), to be directed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge. The comedy centers on what ensues after New York’s most eligible bachelor, dies and comes back to life in the body of a hard-working single Mom from Staten Island.

In addition, the Pasadena Playhouse schedule include Lynn Nottage’s Intimate Apparel (November 5 – December 2), to be directed by Sheldon Epps; Noel Coward’s Fallen Angels (January 29 – February 24); and one additional production, to be announced shortly, running March 19 – April 14.

The Playhouse’s season will also include a holiday offering: A Snow White Christmas (December 11-23), to be directed by Bonnie Lythgoe.
