Point Break Live Set for One Night Only Show at Santa Barbara’s Velvet Jones

The long-running hit Point Break Live will play a one-night-only engagement at Santa Barbara’s Velvet Jones rock club on Saturday, April 28 at 8:30pm.

The piece is a high action punk rock style theatrical experience of the 1992 Keanu Reeves/Patrick Swayze extreme-sports blockbuster, and features big wave riding, bank robberies, fight scenes, chase scenes, shoot outs, skydiving, and lots of fake blood and water.

Point Break Live casts the role of Johnny Utah from the audience. At the start of the show anyone can get up to “audition” for the role and the winner is chosen by the audience via the latest Applaus-O-Meter technology. The “Johnny” chosen for the night performs the role off of cue cards with hilarious results.
