Playwrights’ Arena to Present the World Premiere of Michael Premsrirat’s The Girl Most Likely To

Playwright’s Arena and The Latino Theater Company in association with PAE Live are set to present the world premiere of Michael Premsrirat’s The Girl Most Likely To, April 20-May 13 at the Los Angeles Theatre Center. Playwrights’ Arena founder and artistic director Jon Lawrence Rivera will direct.

The Girl Most Likely To is a sweet play about owning yourself. It tells the story of a Filipino-American boy who wears girl’s clothes to school, sings Christina Aguilera, and wants nothing more than to be accepted for who he is.

The cast will feature Mandela Bellamy, Fran de Leon, Ramon de Ocampo, Nicholas Downs, Te Jay McGrath, Tobit Raphael, Eric Schulman, and Mattew Thompson.

The design team will include John H. Binkley (set design), Adam Blumenthal (lighting design), Mylette Nora (costume design), Adam Fleming (projection design), and Bob Blackburn (sound design).
