Rabbit Hole, with Nicole Kidman, Aaron Eckhart, et al., to Be Released on DVD & Blu-Ray April 19

Lionsgate Films will release the film version of David Lindsay-Abaire’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play Rabbit Hole, on DVD and Blu-ray disc formats on April 19. The movie will be available as Video on Demand on March 25.

Directed by John Cameron Mitchell, the movie stars Nicole Kidman, who received an Oscar nomination for her performance, and Aaron Eckhart as a couple devastated by the loss of their son. The cast also includes stage veterans Tammy Blanchard, Dianne Wiest, Sandra Oh, Jon Tenney, Patricia Kalember, Mike Doyle, and Giancarlo Esposito.

Bonus features on the DVD and Blu-ray releases of the picture will include audio commentary by director Mitchell, writer Lindsay-Abaire, and director of photography Frank G. DeMarco, as well as deleted scenes.
