John Schneider to Star in the Feature Film Doonby

Broadway veteran and TV star John Schneider will star in the upcoming feature film Doonby, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
He will play a drifter who arrives in a small, Texas town in the film, to be written and directed by British filmmaker Peter Mackenzie. Robert Davi will portray the town sheriff.
Schneider has starred on Broadway in Chicago and Grand Hotel; his other stage credits include The Will Rogers Follies, Brigadoon, The Music Man, and Mame. He is best known for his television work, including The Dukes of Hazzard, Smallville, and Nip/Tuck.
