The Colony Theatre Company has announced selections for its 35th anniversary season, which will kick off with Ted Dykstra and Richard Greenblatt’s 2 Pianos 4 Hands (June 17-July 26), a play with music that follows the dynamic and comical true journey of two boys with musical aspirations who grow into adulthood fulfilling their dreams.

Next up will be Jeff Baron’s Visiting Mr. Green (August 26-September 27), about two men — one in his 80s, the other in his 20s — who are forced together against their will. The West Coast premiere of Wayne Peter Liebman’s Better Angels will follow, October 21-November 22), which will commemorate the 200th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln’s birth with a true story of our 16th president.

It will be followed by the West Coast premiere of Charles Evered’s Celadine (February 3-March 7), a free-spirited, rollicking romp involving a king in disguise, a mischievous maidservant, a tailor who can’t speak, and a mysterious actor who may be more dangerous than he seems.
