Kilner, Rose et al. to Star in Schwartz’s My Antonia at Rubicon

Kevin Kilner and Shiva Rose will star in the Rubicon Theatre Company production of My Antonia, the stage adaptation of Pulitzer Prize-winner Willa Cather’s classic novel. Written and directed by Scott Schwartz, the piece features incidental music by his father Stephen Schwartz.

My Antonia centers around a complex love story between a young American boy and an eastern European immigrant. The cast will also include Orestes Arcuni, Tom Beyer, Kate Fuglei, Karen Landry, William Lithgow, Julia Motyka¸ Bob McCracken¸ Miguel Perez, Michael Redfield, David Rogge, and Nancy Sauder. My Antonia had its world premiere at Theatre Works in Palo Alto, CA in 2004.

The creative team will include David Beaudry (sound design), Beowulf Boritt (set design), Melissa Bruning (costume design), Lloyd Cooper (musical direction), Stas Kmiec (choreography), and Steven Young (lighting design).
