Donny and Marie Osmond to Play Las Vegas’ Flamingo Hotel

Donny Osmond and sister Marie Osmond will perform in a new variety show that will begin performances on September 9 at the Flamingo-Las Vegas hotel, according to The Associated Press. The show, to be presented by Danny Gans and Chip Lightman, will play 26 weeks over an eight-month period.

Donny Osmond has appeared on Broadway in Little Johnny Jones and Beauty and the Beast, and has performed in such nightclubs as Feinstein’s at the Loews Regency and B.B. Kings.

Marie Osmond starred on Broadway in The King and I and toured nationally in The Sound of Music. She recently appeared on the ABC-TV series Dancing with the Stars.

The duo are best known for their self-titled TV variety show that ran 1976-1979.
