The Pasadena Playhouse has announced its 2014-2015 season, including five productions and an Artistic Director's Choice to be announced at a later date.

In addition to the season's official selections, the theater is in ongoing discussions to present the world premiere of Where We Belong, by esteemed musical and theater artists BeBe Winans and Charles Randolph-Wright with direction by Artistic Director Sheldon Epps. The show is under consideration for either the first or the last slot of the season.

The season's first announced production will be Diana Son's Stop Kiss, running from November 4-30. Seema Sueko will direct this story of Sara and Callie, who share a kiss in New York City's West Village and are viciously attacked by an angry bystander.

Bonnie Lythgoe will direct Kris Lythgoe's new holiday version of Sleeping Beauty, running from December 10-January 4, 2015. The new panto production will feature family-friendly magic, a comedic twist, and contemporary music.

William Gibson's rarely produced Two for the Seesaw, directed by Sheldon Epps, will run from January 27-February 22, 2015. In the play, Jerry Ryan is a lawyer from Nebraska who has recently separated from his wife. At a party, he meets Gittel Mosca, a struggling dancer with whom he falls in love.

George Bernard Shaw's classic play Pygmalion, running from March 17-April 12, will follow. The play, on which the musical My Fair Lady was based, follows a professor of phonetics, Henry Higgins, who makes a bet that he can train a bedraggled Cockney flower girl, Eliza Doolittle, to pass for a duchess.

The season's final production will be an Artistic Director's Choice, chosen by Epps. Previous choices have included One Night With Janis Joplin and Baby It's You!
