Impro Theatre in Los Angeles will present Shakespeare UnScripted. A completely improvised play in the style of William Shakespeare, the Impro Theatre ensemble begins with an audience suggestion and builds original plays inspired by Shakespeare's poetry. Performances begin at the Carrie Hamilton Theatre (upstairs at Pasadena Playhouse) on March 20 in advance of a March 30 opening and will run through May 4. Brian Lohmann and Dan O'Connor direct.

The cast's rotating ensemble includes Kari Coleman, Lisa Fredrickson, Kelly Holden-Bashar, Brian Jones, Stephen Kearin, Brian Lohmann, Nick Massouh, Dan O'Connor, Edi Patterson, Paul Rogan, Michele Spears, and Floyd Van Buskirk. The creative team features set and costume design by Sandra Burns and lighting design by Leigh Allen, with Michael Becker as lighting improviser and Alex Caan as sound improviser.

Director Dan O'Connor said, "Brian Lohmann and I are very excited to roll up our sleeves, dive into the world of Shakespeare's romantic Italian comedies, and bring this brand-new production to the Carrie Hamilton Theatre."
