Susan Lucci Joins ABC’s Devious Maids Pilot

Stage star and Daytime Emmy Award winner Susan Lucci will star in the ABC pilot Devious Maids, according to Deadline.com.

The series, created by Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry follows four ambitious maids (to be played by Ana Ortiz, Dania Ramirez, Roselyn Sanchez, Judy Reyes) who work for the rich and famous in Beverly Hills. Lucci will play one of the maid’s employers, the wealthy and unhappy Genevieve Delacourt.

Lucci starred on Broadway in the revival of Annie Get Your Gun. For 41 years, she played the role of Erica Kane on ABC’s All My Children, for which she received an Emmy. She is also set to host the new prime-time series, Deadly Affairs, for Investigation Discovery.
