South Coast Repertory has announced plans for the 15th anniversary season of its Pacific Playwrights Festival, which will take place April 27-29.

This year’s festival will include three fully-produced world premieres, including Steven Drukman’s tender comedy about family, loyalty, and love The Prince of Atlantis and Adam Gwon and Octavio Solis’ musical Cloudlands, a drama about a teenage girl who discovers her mother’s secret life.

There will also be staged readings of several new plays, which include Kenneth Lin’s political drama Warrior Class, Melissa Ross’ comic drama You Are Here, SCR’s commission by Lauren Gunderson I and You, Samuel D. Hunter’s The Few, and finally Noah Haidle’s Smokefall.
