Samuel L. Jackson to Star in The Samaritan Film

Samuel L. Jackson will co-star alongside Luke Kirby and Ruth Negga in the forthcoming film, The Samaritan, according to a report in Variety.
The thriller features a screenplay by David Weaver and Elan Mastai, and will be directed by Weaver. Jackson will portray Foley, an ex-convict who wants to put his life of crime behind him.
Jackson was a member of the original Broadway company of August Wilson’s The Piano Lesson. He received an Academy Award nomination for Pulp Fiction. He recently portrayed Nick Fury in the two Iron Man films, and will reprise the role in the upcoming Avengers movie. Among his many other film credits are Freedomland, Kill Bill 2, Any Given Wednesday, Jurassic Park, and Patriot Games.
