Two-time Academy Award-winner Jane Fonda participated in a conversation with Center Theatre Group's artistic director Michael Ritchie at a special CTG/Artistic Director's Circle Event, held at the home of Eva and Marc Stern on Monday, February 28.

Fonda talked about her life, career and her work in writer/director Moisés Kaufman's 33 Variations, which she is currently performing at the Ahmanson Theatre.

In the play, Fonda -- who is reprising her Tony-nominated role from the 2009 Broadway production of the play -- portrays a musicologist who is determined to solve the musical mystery of why Beethoven spent his last years feverishly writing 33 variations of what appeared to be a mediocre waltz created by his publisher.

The cast also features Zach Grenier, Samantha Mathis, Don Amendolia, Susan Kellermann, Greg Keller, Grant James Varjas, Scott Barrow and Caitlin O'Connell.
