Morgan Freeman, Eddie Izzard, et al. Added to Hollywood Bowl Season

The Hollywood Bowl has announced additional details about its 2011 season.

Newly added to the venue’s schedule is a one-night only performance of Eddie Izzard, Stripped to the Bowl, to be offered on July 20 at 8pm. The appearance by this Tony Award-nominated performer will mark the first time that the Hollywood Bowl has been home to an all-comedy presentation.

It has also been announced that Academy Award winner and Tony Award nominee Morgan Freeman will be featured in John Williams: Maestro of the Movies, to be offered August 26-27 at 8:30pm. Freeman is scheduled to narrate Williams’ suite from The Reivers as part of the concert.

Also, Shreya Ghoshal will be a special guest artist for the previously reported July 10 concert that will feature the music of Academy Award-winner A.R. Rahman. .
