Stage veterans Judith Light, Brian O’Bryne, Amanda Peet, Jeremy Sisto, Jeffrey Tambor, and Afton Williamson have all been signed to upcoming pilots, according to recent reports.

Light, currently starring in Lombardi on Broadway, will be seen in ABC’s Other People’s Kids, which will center on a 32-year-old guy with no responsibilities who suddenly finds himself with an instant new family when he falls in love with an older woman, who has two kids and an ex-husband.

Peet, who starred in Barefoot in the Park on Broadway, and Tambor, seen on Broadway in Glengarry Glen Ross, will co-star in the comedy pilot Bent for NBC. The comedy will focus on a recently divorced Type-A single mother who tries hard not to fall for sexy surfer-dude contractor. Tambor will play the man’s dad, a former actor who lives with his son.

O’Bryne, whose Broadway credits include Doubt and Shining City, will star alongside Maria Bello and Aidan Quinn in NBC’s detective drama Prime Suspect, based on the BBC series of the same name.

Jeremy Sisto, who has appeared on Broadway in Festen and Off-Broadway in Spirit Control, will play the lead in the ABC pilot Suburgatory. The cast will also include Jane Levy, Allie Grant, and Broadway veteran Alan Tudyk.

Williamson, who replaced Kerry Washington in the Broadway production of David Mamet’s Race, will star in the previously reported and still untitled CBS pilot about an ultra-competitive surgeon (Patrick Wilson) whose life is changed forever when his ex-wife (Jennifer Ehle) dies and begins teaching him what life is all about from the hereafter. The show is being scripted by Susannah Grant, and Oscar winner and stage veteran Jonathan Demme will helm the pilot.
