The movie, a remake of a 2009 short film that starred Leo, focuses on a rehab-bound mom (Leo) whose overachieving son (Eisenberg) helps her start using again in order to make her health insurance pay for treatment. Tracy Morgan is also set to appear in the movie, playing Leo's character's drug dealer.

Leo recently won an Academy Award for The Fighter. Her stage credits include The Distance From Here, The Argument, Tongue of a Bird, and Cinders. Eisenberg received an Oscar nomination for his performance in The Social Network. On stage, he costarred in Scarcity at Atlantic Theater Company.
