Janet McTeer has been cast as one of the co-stars in FOX's drama pilot, Weekends at Bellevue, according to a report on Deadline.com.

The show will be based on Dr. Julie Holland's memoir of the same name, and will focus on a psychiatrist in charge of the weekend shift of Bellevue Hospital psychiatric unit. McTeer is scheduled to play the head of psychiatry at the hospital.

McTeer received Tony and Olivier Awards for her performance in A Doll's House and received a Tony nomination for her portrayal of the title character in Mary Stuart. Her most recent appearance on Broadway was in God of Carnage, playing Veronica, a role she also played in London. In addition, the actress received an Oscar nomination for her work in Tumbleweeds.
