Hollywood Bowl to Present Grease Sing-A-Long June 25

The Hollywood Bowl has added the Grease Sing-A-Long to its 2010 summer season. The event will take place on June 25.

For the sing-a-long, the Paramount Pictures film will be screened with six-track digital sound, complete with subtitles so the whole audience can sing along. The 1978 movie Grease stars John Travolta, Olivia Newton-John, Stockard Channing, Jeff Conway, and Eve Arden.

Audience members will be encouraged to dress in 50s-themed costumes and to join a pre-show parade with a chance to win prizes.

The Grease Sing-A-Long joins the previously announced Hollywood Bowl season which includes a production of Rent and a Sing-A-Long Sound of Music hosted by Melissa Peterman, as well as appearances by Joshua Bell, Harrick Connick, Jr., Dianne Reeves, and Smokey Robinson.
