Carson Elrod, Deirdre O’Connell, Heidi Schreck, et al. Set for Lisa Kron’s The Wake

Casting has been announced for Lisa Kron’s The Wake, to run March 21 – April 18 at the Kirk Douglas Theatre. Leigh Silverman, who staged Kron’s Well, will direct the production.

The play centers on a freelance writer and her friends as they try to make sense of the contested presidential election of 2000. The company will feature Emily Donahoe, Carson Elrod, Andrea Frankle, Miriam F. Glover, Deirdre O’Connell, Heidi Schreck, and Danielle Skraastad.

The creative team will include David Korins (scenic design), Meg Neville (costume design), Alexander V. Nichols (lighting and projection design), Cricket S. Myers (sound design), and Kathryn Bostic (original music).
