Neil Patrick Harris to Host TV Land Awards

Broadway, film, and television star Neil Patrick Harris will host the seventh annual TV Land Awards, which will be taped on April 19 at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, and air in TV Land PRIME on April 26 at 9pm ET/PT.

The 90-minute show will honor legendary artists from the entertainment industry, feature musical performances, reunite some of the most iconic celebrity TV casts, and parody the year’s most-talked-about events.

Harris’ many stage credits include Assassins, Sweeney Todd, Rent, and All My Sons. He is scheduled to co-star in the LA Theatre Works’ production of The Importance of Being Earnest later this year. He currently co-stars as Barney in CBS’ How I Met Your Mother, and previously starred on the long-running series Doogie Howser, M.D.
