Callaway, Cook, Gravitte, Schwartz, Voigt, et al. Set for OCPAC Season

The Orange County Performing ArtsCenter in Costa Mesa, California has announced its 2008-2009 season.

OCPAC will present the musicals The Color Purple (November 18-30), Cats (December 16-21), Stomp (January 6-11), Avenue Q (March 31-April 12), The Rat Pack – Live at the Sands (April 14-19), Grease (April 28-May 10), Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (July 7-19), Fiddler on the Roof (August 11-23), and Legally Blonde (September 8-20).

The Center’s Cabaret series will feature composer-lyricist Stephen Schwartz with singers Liz Callaway, Scott Coulter, and Debbie Gravitte (October 2-5), Barbara Cook and Deborah Voigt (December 6), John Pizzarelli and Jessica Molaskey (January 15-18), Matt Dusk (February 12-15), and Nicole Cabell (May 14-17).

Other events include the Kirov Ballet (October 7-12), Backyardigans Live! (November 8-9), the National Acrobats of China (January 24), Cirque Dreams: Jungle Fantasy (February 18-21), and Tour De Force: A Gala Dance Spectacular (May 21).
