Argo, Daniel Day-Lewis, Anne Hathaway: The Complete Winners' Circle

Stage veterans win big at last night's Oscars.

Anne Hathaway's "dream" came true at last night's 85th annual Academy Awards in Los Angeles. Hathaway (Twelfth Night at Shakespeare in the Park) took home the Oscar for her portrayal of the tragic Fantine in Les Miserables, joining the other acting winners of the evening: Jennifer Lawrence (for Silver Linings Playbook), Christoph Waltz (for Django Unchained) and Daniel Day-Lewis (for Lincoln).

Les Miz, the live-singing big screen adaptation of the Broadway classic, took home awards for Make-Up and Hairstyling (Lisa Westcott and Julie Dartnell), Sound Mixing (Andy Nelson, Mark Paterson and Simon Hayes), in addition to Hathaway's Best Supporting Actress honor.

Lincoln, with its screenplay by Tony Kushner, won awards for Production Design (Rick Carter, Jim Erickson (Set Decoration) and Actor for Daniel Day-Lewis' performance in the titular role. This marks Daniel Day-Lewis' third Oscar. (Daniel Day-Lewis also appeared in the movie musical adaptation of Nine.)

Ben Affleck's Argo took home the top prizes for Best Picture, Film Editing, and Adapted Screenplay. Argo features stage vets like Alan Arkin, Tate Donovan, Victor Garber and John Goodman.
