Darius Campbell Cast in ABC’s Beauty and the Beast Pilot
British stage star Darius Campbell will play the Beast in the ABC drama pilot, Beauty and the Beast, according to Deadline.com.
The series is described as a reimagining of the classic fairy tale.
Campbell — formerly known as Darius Danesh – appeared on the West End in Chicago, Gone with the Wind, and Guys and Dolls, as well as Carmen at the O2.
He won the ITV reality series Popstar To Operastar, and was a contestant on Pop Stars and Pop Idol.
