Danny Gurwin, Tracy Lore, Bets Malone, Scott Reardon Set for Cabrillo’s Once Upon a Mattress

Cabrillo Music Theatre is set to present Once Upon a Mattress, April 20-29 at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza. Richard Israel will direct.
With music by Mary Rodgers, lyrics by Marshall Barer, and a book by Jay Thompson, Dean Fuller, and Marshall Barer, Once Upon a Mattress tells the story of Winnifred, the girl who might be a princess and who swims the moat in order to marry Prince Dauntless the Drab.
The cast will feature Bets Malone as Princess Winnifred as well as Scott Reardon (Prince Dauntless), Tracy Lore (Queen Aggravain), and Danny Gurwin (Minstrel).
Choreography will be by Cheryl Baxter, and Musical Director Daniel Thomas will lead the Cabrillo Music Theatre Orchestra.
