Slither illuminates the ever-shifting relationship between women, power, and religion through the stories of the love and survival of a carnival snake dancer, a preacher's wife, a Cretan priestess, and Eve.
The cast will include Chalk Rep founding members Amy Ellenberger and Teri Reeves, as well as Lina Patel, Brian Slaten, Inger Tudor, and Tobie Windham.
The design team will be comprised of Thomas Ontiveros (set, lighting, and projection design), Jessica Olson (costume design), and Naomi Kasahara (prop design). Original music will be by acclaimed musicians Michael Shapiro and Jamieson Trotter.
